LITTLETON AMONG MOST EFFICIENT TACKLERS AT LINEBACKER

Scouting service Pro Football Focus (PFF) recently published an article explaining some of its signature stats used to evaluate linebackers. When expanding on Tackling Efficiency, they cited Rams inside linebacker and pending free agent Cory Littleton's 2019 season.

"Los Angeles Rams off-ball linebacker Cory Littleton, who will enter free agency as an unrestricted free agent if not re-signed, missed just one tackle across his 126 tackle attempts in 2019," PFF.com wrote. "His 126.0 PFF tackling efficiency ranked first among the 51 NFL off-ball linebackers with at least 80 combined tackles attempts in 2019 (including the postseason). San Francisco 49ers' Dre Greenlaw ranked second and former Carolina Panthers off-ball linebacker Luke Kuechly ranked third at 25.0 and 23.3, respectively."

CARDINALS TO HOST REGULAR SEASON GAME IN MEXICO CITY

The Arizona Cardinals are scheduled to play one of their home games in Mexico City this upcoming season. By virtue of being a divisional opponent, the Rams could potentially be one of those opponents.

The opponent, date, and time are yet to be announced, according to azcardinals.com.

"The game will replace a home game for the Cardinals on the 2020 schedule, a necessary move after the Valley and State Farm Stadium was awarded the Super Bowl after the 2022 season," Cardinals senior writer Darren Urban wrote.

Arizona is slated to host the home game in the same stadium – Estadio Azteca – where Los Angeles was scheduled to play the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night football in November 2018. The game was moved to Los Angeles Memorial Memorial Coliseum, however, due to the stadium's playing surface not meeting NFL standards.
