GURLEY, GORDON TAKE IN XFL GAME

Rams running back Todd Gurley joined Chargers running back Melvin Gordon at the L.A. Wildcats' XFL home opener at Dignity Health Sports Park.

Gurley was there to support former Rams teammate Nelson Spruce, who ended up finishing with six catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns in a 25-18 loss to the Dallas Renegades. XFL broadcasters and sideline reporters have the ability to interview players and coaches during the game, and they took advantage of that access by talking to Spruce and Gurley after Spruce's first touchdown catch.

Overall, Gurley seemed to have a good time.
