WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The Rams on Tuesday signed defensive lineman Decarius Hawthorne to a one-year deal.

The Birmingham, Alabama native was a 13-game starter for the University of South Florida in 2024, leading all Bulls defensive linemen with 40 tackles and finishing second with 10.5 sacks for loss. He also added 2.5 sacks, three quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery en route to Second Team All-AAC recognition from conference coaches.

Prior to USF, Hawthorne spent his first four collegiate seasons at Florida Atlantic University, where he tallied 46 tackles (13.5 for loss) and five sacks across 34 games played.
