WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The Rams on Monday signed tight end McCallan Castles, and also waived/injured tight end Anthony Torres.
Castles, 25, most recently spent time with the Los Angeles Chargers, signing to their practice squad in mid-October last year, then signing a reserve/future contract with them in mid-January earlier this year. He was waived by the Chargers on Aug. 6.
Castles originally entered the NFL signing with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee in 2024.
Torres getting waived with an injury designation comes after Rams head coach Sean McVay on Sunday said that Torres sustained an ankle injury in Saturday's preseason opener against the Cowboys and would "be out for a little bit of time."
