Daily Dose: Brandin Cooks Dominates the Deep Game

This offseason, theRams.com will be taking a look around the internet for the top Rams headlines of the day. Here's a look at what's out there for Friday, July 20th about your Los Angeles Rams:

GO DEEP!

Brandin Cooks loves the deep ball. Pro Football Focus tweeted this week that Cooks' 1,641 receiving yards over the last three seasons on passes 20+ yards downfield puts him atop a list of the league's elite, and it's not even close.

While defensive additions have dominated headlines this offseason, Cooks' status as a premier deep threat may have quarterback Jared Goff smiling and warming up his arm.

RAMS CONTINUE TO GIVE BACK

Rams rookie offensive lineman Jamil Demby returned to his hometown of Vineland, New Jersey on Wednesday to host the first day of Vineland's Midget League summer football camp.

Josh Friedman of the Vineland Daily Journal covered the event and recorded the league's vice president Quan Johnson's appreciation of Demby's efforts to give back, just days before the start of NFL training camp.

"It's a beautiful thing," he said. "It gives the kids an opportunity, to let them know that they can actually do whatever they choose in life. With Jamil being here, Jamil is a great prospect, a great leader, a great motivator, he's definitely a great mentor to these kids out here."
