Daily Dose: Cooks Talks Life as a Ram

Each weekday, theRams.com will be taking a look around the internet for the top Rams headlines of the day. Here's a look at what's out there for Friday September 14th about your Los Angeles Rams.

COOKS INTERVIEW

Wide receiver Brandin Cooks sat down with CBS Sports Radio's Jim Rome on Thursday. Rome and Cooks talked about nearly 10 minutes about head coach Sean McVay, L.A.'s offseason additions, and more.

Here's some of what Cooks told Rome about the Rams' offseason additions.

"It's an awesome locker room — no question about it. We all get along, we have so many leaders and I think that's the beautiful thing about this team — no one steps on each other's toes. We just know what our mindset is and that's to go out there and get the win."

GOFF POWER RANKING

Will Brinson of CBSSports.com released his QB power rankings for Week 2 this week. Brinson awarded Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers the top QB spot after his comeback performance in Week 1. As for Rams QB Jared Goff, Brinson has him closer to the middle of the pack.

15. Jared Goff: "Goff missed several big throws down the field, although he did finish with a decent day. The Raiders gave an excellent effort early. He'll get a solid test against the Cardinals."

Goff finished Monday's game 18-of-33, with 233 yards and two touchdowns.
