TO-DO LIST

ESPN's Bill Barnwell came up with an offseason to-do list for each NFC team on Monday and says the first item of business for the Rams as the offseason rolls on is landing a defensive lineman.

"The Rams will theoretically hand some of Ndamukong Suh's snaps to the likes of Tanzel Smart on the inside and Clay Matthews on the edge, but they could still justify adding one more defensive lineman to supplement one of the league's best units."

Second, Barnwell calls for the club to extend cornerback Marcus Peters ahead of year two in L.A.

"Given the deals they've handed to players such as Cooks and Todd Gurley II in recent years, it's clear that the Rams have no qualms about paying over the odds for one of those young stars. It wouldn't be shocking if Peters ended up challenging the likes of Trumaine Johnson and Josh Norman for the richest active cornerback deal."

BREAKAWAY PERCENTAGE

Rookie running back Darrell Henderson makes the jump the the NFL after leading all NCAA rushers in big-play yards. In his introductory press conference last week, Henderson called head coach Sean McVay's system 'the perfect fit.'

TOP OFFSEASON MOVE

Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport said the Rams adding safety Eric Weddle was one of the top offseason moves across the NFL. Weddle joins the Rams for year 13, following three seasons in Baltimore and nine with the Chargers.

No. 8 Rams sign S Eric Weddle - "What makes this signing such a good one isn't just that the Rams added a steady veteran presence on the back end—and arguably an upgrade over Joyner. Or that Weddle's an ideal mentor for rookie safety Taylor Rapp."
