The Los Angeles Rams selected defensive tackle Braden Fiske with the 39th overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft (4/26/24).
College: Fiske started all 13 games played in 2023 as a senior at Florida State and recorded 43 tackles (17 solo), nine tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks, and five quarterback hurries. He was a SecondTeam All-ACC selection, Third-Team All-American (AP), and notched 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks over the final five games of the season. Leading up to the 2023 season, Fiske was ranked as the top defensive lineman in the transfer portal, according to 247Sports. Prior to his time at Florida State, he played five seasons at Western Michigan and appeared in 45 games (30 starts). Fiske recorded 148 tackles (75 solo), including 27.5 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one blocked kick. Fiske was a Second-Team All-MAC performer in 2022 after recording 58 tackles (31 solo), 12 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He notched 43 tackles (27 solo), eight tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks during the 2021 campaign and registered 23 tackles (seven solo), 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and a blocked field goal in 2020. As a redshirt freshman in 2019, Fiske notched 24 tackles (10 solo), 2.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, and one fumble recovery. He played in two games as a true freshman in 2018.
Personal: Fiske was a four-year letterman, three-time AllDuneland Conference selection, and a two-time team captain at Michigan City High School. He helped guide the Wolves to the semifinal round of the 5A state playoffs his senior year in 2017. He was a two-sport athlete and also played baseball in high school. Fiske majored in recreation, sport management.
