WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Rams offensive lineman Kevin Dotson (ankle) and cornerback Josh Wallace (ankle) are officially out for Monday night's game against the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta (5:15 p.m. PT, ESPN), while wide receiver Davante Adams is doubtful.
"We thought his (Wallace's) ankle was going to feel better than what it has," head coach Sean McVay said. "Nobody wants to play more than he does. He just didn't make quite the progress for the position he's in for us to think that would be responsible."
McVay also said the team would activate cornerback Roger McCreary (hip) off of injured reserve ahead of Monday night's game. Wallace being out will give both McCreary and cornerback Derion Kendrick an opportunity "to be able to step up and do some things," McVay said.
Meanwhile, offensive lineman Alaric Jackson (ankle) and Braden Fiske (ankle) are listed as questionable. McVay said it's "more likely than not" that Jackson and Fiske play, but also that "it wouldn't be something that would be crazy if they weren't able to make it." McVay indicated they would use all the time available to them to make that determination.
For the Falcons, wide receiver Drake London (knee) is listed as questionable, but head coach Raheem Morris told Atlanta reporters he "feels great" about London playing Monday night. On the other hand, cornerbacks Mike Hughes (ankle) and Clark Phillips III (triceps/illness) and defensive lineman Sam Roberts (knee/ankle) have been ruled out.
