Rams place cornerback Darious Williams on Reserve/Retired List

The Rams have placed cornerback Darious Williams on the Reserve/Retired list.

The 32-year-old Williams spent six of his eight NFL seasons with the Rams, originally arriving in Los Angeles as a claim off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens. In that span, he started in 40 of 67 regular season games played, as well as nine of 12 playoff games, and was part of L.A.'s Super Bowl-LVI winning team in 2021.

Overall, he recorded eight of his 12 career interceptions, 200 of his 306 total tackles, both of his two career fumble recoveries and 42 of his 77 career passes defensed during his Rams tenure.

After helping the Rams win Super Bowl LVI during the 2021 season, he signed a three-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars the following offseason. After they released him on March 5, 2024, he returned to Los Angeles for a second stint with the Rams by signing a three-year deal a little over a week later.

From 2020-2025, Williams had the second-most pass breakups in the NFL (58). He was also second in passes defended (73) and seventh in completions against as the primary defender (189).
