Rams sign four players to free agent contracts

The Rams have made a few roster moves on Wednesday, signing four players to free agent contracts.

Los Angeles signed defensive back Donte Deayon, linebacker Travin Howard, offensive tackle Kyle Murphy, and wide receiver Austin Proehl to deals.

All four players were members of Los Angeles' practice squad to end the 2018 season.

Howard was a seventh-round pick in the 2018 draft for L.A. Proehl is the son of former Rams wide receiver Ricky Proehl, who caught the game-winning touchdown against the Buccaneers in the 1999 NFC Championship Game.

The Rams will continue their preparations for the offseason program over the course of the next couple months. The NFL Combine begins the last week of February, and free agency officially starts with the new league year on March 13.
