EARLY SUPER BOWL ODDS

The Rams are in the mix for a return to the Super Bowl according to oddschecker.com.

On Monday, Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox broke down what could get head coach Sean McVay's group back to the big game, and says it has a lot to do with the status of running back Todd Gurley.

Los Angeles Rams: 9-1 "It's a little surprising to see the Los Angeles Rams more heavily favored than the Saints.Yes, L.A. played in the Super Bowl last season, but the Rams have lost some important pieces, such as guard Rodger Saffold and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. If L.A. is forced to keep Gurley on a pitch count, it will make the Rams' vaunted offense just a little easier to contain."

Only the Chiefs (8-1) and Patriots (8-1) have better early odds than the Rams.

L.A.'s DRAFT QUESTION MARK

NFL.com's Elliot Harrison has one burning question for each NFC team with the 2019 NFL Draft just around the corner. The Rams hold one first round pick (No. 31) and Harrison says there's a chance the club uses the pick to boost its O-line.

"Is O-line help the ticket to getting back to the Super Bowl? Guard is not typically a sexy first-round pick -- thus, even though the Rams are picking 31st overall, they could find one of the top players at the position waiting for them. Center remains an option, as well, with the team having parted ways with John Sullivan. Fortifying the interior line doesn't kick-start much buzz about your football team. However, this group needs no such jumper cables. With a couple replacement parts, the Rams will charge right back into the mix come January."
