Feature: Kyren Williams reaches Top 10 in franchise history in rushing yards

INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Running back Kyren Williams grew up watching the Rams as a kid. Now, he's etched his name into franchise history.

With his 30-yard run in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Seahawks at SoFi Stadium, Williams moved to 10th in franchise history in rushing yards, passing Wendell Tyler (3,266). That 30-yard carry, and later his 34-yard carry, were Williams' two longest of the season.

"I couldn't even tell you, honestly," a smiling Williams said postgame when asking what that achievement meant to him. "It makes my insides feel good, though."

Williams needed 26 yards entering Week 11 to reach the mark. He finished with 91 on 12 carries, plus one touchdown, in the Rams' 21-19 win over the Seahawks, to move up another spot to 9th in franchise history in rushing yards, passing Tank Younger (3,296).

He also joined Marshall Faulk, Todd Gurley III and Eric Dickerson as the only Rams players to record 40-plus scrimmage touchdowns in a three-year span. With his rushing touchdown in the first quarter, Williams (32) passed Tank Younger (31) and Greg Bell (31) in career rushing TDs and moved to eighth in franchise history.

Williams has 3,332 career rushing yards in the regular season across a Rams tenure that has spanned 47 career games (36) starts.
