Rams re-sign CB Derion Kendrick

After the Rams waived cornerback Derion Kendrick last week, he cleared waivers and has been re-signed by the team.

Kendrick entered the league as a sixth-round draft pick in 2022 out of Georgia after spending the first three years of his college career at Clemson. Kendrick played in 15 games as a rookie, starting six, before starting 12 of his 17 games played in 2023. He tallied 10 passes defended, one interception and 49 total tackles, helping the Rams to the postseason.

In training camp last year, Kendrick tore his ACL which caused him to miss the entirety of the 2024 season. He will now re-enter a cornerback group that includes veterans like Ahkello Witherspoon and Darious Williams as well as fellow youngsters such as Cobie Durant, Emmanuel Forbes Jr. and Josh Wallace.
