Tyler Davis on his journey from Clemson to the NFL and how this Rams D-line continues to grow | Featured on Rams Revealed Ep. 137

By the time they'd kicked off a Week 4 win over the Indianapolis Colts, the sound bite had certainly made its way around the Los Angeles Rams locker room.

Opposing safety Cam Bynum, appearing as a podcast guest on "Downs 2 Business," alleged that SoFi Stadium had pumped in fake crowd noise on his prior visits with the Minnesota Vikings.

Well, the Rams House was absolutely rocking on Sunday, and it was very real.

"It was amazing. I was like, 'Whoa.' I guess they heard what the (Colts) safety said," defensive end Tyler Davis told us on the most recent Rams Revealed.

Indianapolis was the last team in the NFL to commit a turnover this season – losing three possessions to the Rams on Sunday. The Colts were also penalized for two false starts and gave up two sacks, as many as they'd allowed all season prior to facing the Rams.

Davis is encouraging fans to bring more of the same noise on Thursday when division play opens against the San Francisco 49ers.

"We're gonna need it," the 24-year-old said.

During training camp, fellow defensive lineman Braden Fiske described the former Clemson captain as the unsung hero of the 2024 defense. Davis promptly responded with the first full sack of his career in the opening victory against Houston.

Just as importantly, he's been a driving force behind a revamped run defense that just held Saquon Barkley to 2.6 yards per carry and Jonathan Taylor to 4.5, both well under 100 yards rushing.

"I think we've done a great job. We've still got some stuff to improve on," Davis said of LA's run-stuffing efforts. "And it shows what we can be. We can just keep on stacking to be one of the best run defenses in the league."

There's no break in the schedule in that department. On a short week, their next chore will be containing Christian McCaffrey, followed by a Week 6 trip to Baltimore and Derrick Henry.
