- Has appeared in 197 games over his 14-year NFL career with the Los Angeles Rams (2011-20), Dallas Cowboys (2021-22), Detroit Lions (2023), Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins (2024).
- In 2024, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings on November 5th to replace the injured Andrew DePaola, appearing in four games. Later that season, he signed with the Miami Dolphins practice squad on December 16th and was promoted to the active roster the next day. He appeared in three games for Miami that season, bringing his season total to seven games.
- In 2023, he signed to the Lions active roster on November 1st, replacing the injured Scott Daly. He appeared in the final nine regular-season games and three postseason contests for Detroit.
- In 2021, McQuade reunited with former Rams special teams coordinator John Fassel and former Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein with the Dallas Cowboys and appeared in all 17 regular-season games and one postseason contest.
- In his second season with the Dallas Cowboys in 2022, he appeared in four regular-season games before being placed on the Reserve/Injured List.
- Prior to joining the Cowboys, McQuade played 10 consecutive seasons for the Los Angeles Rams and never missed a game.
- He appeared in six postseason contests for the Rams over his 10 seasons and appeared in Super Bowl LIII on February 3, 2019.
- McQuade received two Pro Bowl honors in 2016 and 2017.
COLLEGE
- Attended The Ohio State University from 2006-10.
- Originally joined the Buckeyes as a walk on and took over the long snapper position in 2008.
- In 2010, Ohio State went 12-1 and went on to defeat Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl, 31-26.
- In 2009, the Buckeyes went 11-2 and defeated Oregon, 26-17 in the Rose Bowl.
- In 2008, Ohio State finished 10-3 and made an appearance in the Fiesta Bowl against the Texas Longhorns.
- In McQuade's first two seasons with the Buckeyes, the team appeared in two BCS National Championship games in 2006 (Florida) and 2007 (LSU).
PERSONAL
- Played tight end in high school and recorded 10 receptions for 125 yards as a senior at Elder High in Cincinnati.
- Earned the Mr. ZIP award for basketball at Elder.
- National Honor Society.
- Student Council Communications Officer.
- Son of Bev and Kevin McQuaide.
- Has two sisters, Maureen and Katie.
- Married Abby on March 17, 2012, and they have a daughter, Quinn, and a son, JJ.
- Earned 2008-09 Big Ten all-academic honors.
- Aeronautical and astronautical engineering major.
- Participated in many community events, including Make-A-Wish Celebrity Server dinner, Taste of the NFL, Love Your Melon Distribution event at Mercy, 6th Annual Playground Build at Marygrove and the All-Community Team Ticket program - 4th Down Fan Club.
