Biography

NFL Career:

  • Made his NFL debut in Week 4 against the New York Giants in 2020 and took the majority of his snaps on special teams.
  • Saw his first action at right tackle against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 16 of the 2020 season.

College: In 2019 at Clemson, Tremayne was a team captain and First-team All-ACC selection. He made all 15 starts, logging 842 snaps and helping Clemson's offense finish fourth in the nation in points per game (43.9) and fifth in total offense. Against Louisville, he shared team offensive player of the game honors following Clemson's 551-yard performance with 298 rushing yards. Anchrum earned ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance vs. Boston College, playing 38 snaps to help Clemson exceed both 300 passing yards and 300 rushing yards in the contest. He recorded 68 snaps when Clemson produced the fifth-largest comeback in school history, overcoming a 16-0 deficit in a Fiesta Bowl win vs. No. 2 Ohio State and played 71 snaps vs. No. 1 LSU in a national championship loss. In 2018 as a junior, he was Second-team All-ACC and Second-team AP All-ACC after playing 805 snaps over 15 games (all starts). Anchrum received ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors when he helped the Clemson offense gain over 530 yards against Furman. Against Wake Forest, Anchrum played 55 snaps and helped Clemson record 698 yards of total offense and a school-record 11.8 yards per carry. He played 62 snaps in the National Championship Game victory against No. 1 Alabama. In 2017 as a sophomore, he made six starts but appeared in 14 games, logging 577 snaps. In 2016 as a freshman, he made one start and appeared in 11 games. 

Personal: Anchrum was rated by ESPN as the No. 39 offensive guard in the nation coming our of high school and was first-team all-state in Georgia according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He chose to play collegiately at Clemson despite also having interest to play at Nebraska or Colorado. His father, also named Tremayne, played high school football in the state of Colorado and was all-state in football and basketball according to the Denver Post. His father went on to play basketball at the University of Southern California and led the Trojans in rebounding as a sophomore and three-point shooting percentage as a junior. Anchrum Jr. completed a microinternship with Adobe in 2018 and graduated in December 2019 with a degree in management. 

Community Impact: Anchrum participated in a virtual character development series in partnership with Operation Progress for middle school students in Watts. He also has hosted a Rise with the Rams session to lead high school football players in a virtual discussion about "understanding identities."
