Defensive lineman Michael Brockers and center John Sullivan appeared on Wednesday's injury report, but head coach Sean McVay said on Thursday that it's not true cause for concern.
"It's more just maintenance with these guys," McVay said. "They were a little banged up from a physical game the other day. We want to do whatever we can to get them feeling as good as possible for Sunday. But it's not anything we expect to affect their ability and availability on Sunday. It's more kind of being safe."
To that end, Brockers (shoulder) returned to practice on Thursday with the Rams, partici pads. Sullivan (ankle), however, did not participate in the session.
Elsewhere on the injury report, left tackle Andrew Whitworth was back on the field after going through his usual rest day on Wednesday. Kicker Greg Zuerlein (groin) and linebacker Mark Barron (ankle) did not participate in the session.
For the Chargers, offensive tackle Joe Barksdale (knee) remains out — as does defensive end Joey Bosa (foot), who head coach Anthony Lynn already ruled out for Sunday.
