WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – Although the Rams opened offensive lineman Rob Havenstein's practice window this week, Havenstein has been ruled out for Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Seahawks at Lumen Field in Seattle (3:30 p.m. PT, FOX).
Havenstein's 21-day window opened when he returned to practice Thursday, but head coach Sean McVay said the team "didn't ever have any expectations of him playing this week." Havenstein has made "great progress," McVay said, "and in a lot of instances, it's really to be able to say, all right, let's get out on the field with your guys in a limited capacity."
While outside linebacker Byron Young (knee) is listed as questionable, McVay said "our full expectation is that he's playing." Young was a limited participant in Friday's practice, but McVay said that was because of the team taking a cautious approach with the edge rusher.
For the Seahawks, starting left tackle Charles Cross (foot) carries no designation for Sunday, but second-string left tackle Josh Jones (knee/ankle) is listed as questionable and third-string left tackle Amari Kight (knee) is listed as doubtful. Fullback Robbie Ouzts (neck) is listed as questionable, while linebacker Chazz Surratt (ankle) has been ruled out.
