His final season at Oklahoma State in 2019, Green was a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, which is presented to the nation's top defensive back.
Earned Second-Team All-Big 12 honoree as voted by the Associated Press and was voted a team captain by his teammates.
Started all 13 games and was honored with the Vernon Grant Award for outstanding leadership, spirit and enthusiasm.
As a junior in 2018, earned Second-Team All-Big 12 honors and ranked among the conference leaders in pass breakups with 11. Tallied 49 tackles (39 solo) on the season.
In 2017 as a sophomore, earned Second-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors and was recognized by coaches with the Barry Sanders Award for making the greatest contribution to the team with the least recognition.
Started every game that season and led the team with four interceptions, which was tied for second in the Big-12.
He recorded 47 tackles on the season (40 solo) and tallied an interception in three straight games. Added five pass breakups on the year, 4.5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
As a freshman at in 2016, saw action in nine games for the Cowboys and appeared in the Alamo Bowl against Colorado.
