College: Trammell was a First-Team All-Conference USA selection (coaches) following his senior season, despite missing the final two games with an injury. He was named to the Preseason Paul Hornung Award and Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Watch Lists. He led C-USA in scoring with 12.7 points per game (six touchdowns; one, 2-point conversion) and ranked second with 111.7 receiving yards per game and third with 5.3 receptions per game prior to his injury. Trammell became the first Owls receiver to catch six TD passes over three games since 2008. His 13 career receiving touchdowns tied with Froggy Williams (1946-49), Buddy Dial (1956-58) and Toren Dixon (2006-09) at Rice. Trammell was named a co-captain during his junior season and led the Owls in receptions (60), all-purpose yards (1,168), kick returns (299 yards) and punt returns (130). He also ranked second with 726 receiving yards and four touchdown receptions, tied for sixth in C-USA with five receptions per game, eighth with 97.3 all-purpose yards per game, and 10th with 60.5 yards per game at the end of the regular season. He became the second player in school history to have back-to-back seasons with at least 60 receptions. Trammell led the Owls with 62 receptions and 632 receiving yards and received the George R. Brown Offensive Award as the Owls top receiver during his sophomore season. He averaged 27.4 yards on 14 kickoff returns and ranked seventh in C-USA with 383 kickoff return yards. As a true freshman, he earned Second-Team All-Conference USA and All-C-USA Freshman honors as a kick returner and won the Lipscomb Award as the Owls top freshman voted on by his teammates. He averaged 7.8 yards per punt return, the highest mark for an Owl since 2011. He led the Owls in kickoff returns with 17 for 132 and had three returns of at least 30 yards.
Personal: Trammell was a two-time unanimous All-District 15-6A for coach Shane Hallmark at Klein High School, as the Bearkats finished second in the district in his senior year. He caught 25 passes for 380 yards and nine touchdowns in five games before an injury as a senior and finished with 76 receptions for 1,105 yards and 16 touchdowns in his career. Trammell also returned 27 kickoffs for 521 yards and a touchdown in his career. He was named a team captain as a senior. Trammell also played baseball and earned all-district honors twice and was named the 2015 15-6A Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore. He was born on July 4 in Alexandria, La. to Stephen and Tonya, and he majored in sport management.
