College: Earned All-Big Ten second team his senior year in 2021 and All-Big Ten third team his junior year in 2020. Was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree each of his four seasons at Wisconsin. Bruss appeared in 41 games (34 starts), including 25 starts at right tackle and six at right guard. In 2021, Bruss started nine games at right tackle and helped pave the way for the second-best rushing offense in the Big Ten. During the 2020 season, Bruss started all six games played, beginning the season at right tackle before starting five-straight games at right guard. In 2019, he played in 13 games (13 starts) with 12 starts at right tackle. Bruss appeared in 13 games (six starts) in 2018.Â
Personal: Bruss was a three-star recruit coming out of high school according to ESPN, Rivals, Scout and 247 Sports. He was a unanimous first-team all-state selection two consecutive years as a senior and junior. Bruss was a two-time all-state selection by the Wisconson Football Coaches Assoc. and was a finalist for the Joe Thomas Award presented to the state's top senior offensive lineman. Additionally, Bruss was the FOX Valley Assoc. North Division's Offensive Lineman of the Year his junior and senior year and was second team all-conference as a sophomore. Bruss was a multi-sport athlete that was a three-year letter winner in track, earning all-conference honors in the discus and played basketball. Logan is the son of Patrick and Jennifer Bruss.
