The Rams (7-7) host the Saints (7-7) at SoFi Stadium Thursday Night Football in a battle between two teams making a playoff push. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. pacific time on Amazon Prime Video (also available to watch locally on FOX 11).

In advance of the contest, here are 3 Keys to Winning for the Rams, powered by The Wallace Firm:

1. Create, and don't commit, turnovers

The Saints enter Week 16 tied with the Broncos and Ravens for 8th in the NFL in turnover differential at plus-five – 22 takeaways to 17 giveaways. In other words, they are adept at protecting the football while also creating takeaways.

That places increased importance on the Rams not only protecting the football Thursday night, but also capitalizing on any takeaways they create should those opportunities arise.

2. Maximize pass plays

New Orleans allows the fifth-fewest passing yards per game in the league (185.4), so Los Angeles will need to make the most of those pass attempts in order to sustain drives.

3. Establish the run

Good things happen for the Rams offense when running back Kyren Williams gets plenty of carries, as shown in the last four games. On paper, this Thursday would present another opportunity to get Williams going – and take some pressure off the passing game – with the Saints allowing the ninth-most rushing yards per game (126.4).
