OFFENSIVE POWER RANKINGS

Bleacher Report's Ian Wharton ranked each team's offense post-draft and head coach Sean McVay's unit sits at the top of the list.

Wharton says although the league got a look at the Rams' scheme in 2018, the majority of offensive weapons in Los Angeles are set to return in 2019, and further development from quarterback Jared Goff could put the offense above the rest.

No. 1 Los Angeles Rams - "The NFL's No. 2-ranked offense last year comes back just as strong. Unlike the Chiefs, the Rams didn't suffer any significant losses on offense. The most notable changes are new starters at left guard (Joseph Noteboom) and center (Brian Allen). The Rams added third-round running back Darrell Henderson as a dynamic backup to Todd Gurley. If Gurley can put his knee issues behind him, expect this offense to wreak havoc again. Quarterback Jared Goff should be in for another big year with Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods in the fold as well."

TOP DRAFT TRADE

The Rams made six trades in the 2019 NFL Draft, turning seven slated picks into eight draftees, but the club's top trade landed DT Greg Gaines — according to CBSSports.com's R.J. White.

On Thursday, White ranked all 40 trades from draft night and coming in at No. 17 is the Rams' move to add depth to their defensive line.

Here's why:

Rams get No. 134 (DT Gaines), 243, Patriots get No. 162, 167 - "Good value here for the Rams thanks to getting that extra pick back in the deal, and Greg Gaines is a solid prospect who can help offset the loss of Ndamukong Suh to free agency. After they missed out on the top D-line talent in Round 1 and decided to trade back, Gaines was a solid fall-back option who didn't come at a prohibitive price."
