SANTA CLARA, Calif. – With a touchdown catch against the 49ers on Sunday, Rams wide receiver Davante Adams took sole possession of 8th all-time in career receiving touchdowns (112), passing tight end Tony Gonzalez.
On the two-yard line, Adams ran an out route and went full extension for quarterback Matthew Stafford's pass, his momentum carrying him into a dive after he secured the catch. That touchdown put L.A. up 28-14 in the third quarter.
It was Adams' ninth touchdown of the season and sixth in the past three games.
