Matthew Stafford named 101 Awards' 2025 NFC Offensive Player of the Year

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was named the 101 Awards' NFC Offensive Player of the Year. It's his first time receiving the award.

The 101 Awards is the nation's longest-running awards program dedicated exclusively to the National Football League. Founded in 1969 by Lamar Hunt and a group of Kansas City business leaders, the 101 Awards have saluted the most outstanding players and coaches in the AFC and NFC each full season since the AFL-NFL merger. Award winners are selected in nationwide balloting of 101 sportswriters and broadcasters who cover the NFL throughout the season, with official votes tallied after Week 18 of the regular season and ahead of NFL Wild Card Weekend.

Leading the Rams to a 12-5 record in the regular season, Stafford led the league in passing yards (4,707) and passing touchdowns (46) against just eight interceptions. He ranked second in passer rating at 109.2 (first in the NFC) and led the league in first downs (236).

Stafford was the NFC Offensive Player of the Month in both November and December/January and the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 18.

Stafford was named a finalist for the Associated Press MVP award, and was voted as an AP First Team All-Pro. He also won the Pro Football Writers of America's MVP award and was named to their All-NFL team.
