ATLANTA â With two passing touchdowns against the Falcons on Monday Night Football, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford passed Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger for eighth-most in NFL history (419).
With less than three minutes remaining in regulation, Stafford threw a screen to wide receiver Puka Nacua, who got the edge and scored from 11 yards out to tie the game. The Rams had trailed 24-3 midway through the third quarter, but Stafford's milestone touchdown pass made it a brand new game late in the fourth quarter.
Stafford now has a career- and franchise-high 42 touchdown passes this season.
