Quentin Lake receives Good Guy Award from Pro Football Writers of America chapter covering Rams

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The Pro Football Writers of America chapter covering the Rams named Quentin Lake as the team's recipient of their 2025 Good Guy Award winner on Friday.

The award is given annually to a player who makes himself available and accountable and helps the group tell the story of the team.

Chapter president Gary Klein, who covers the team for the Los Angeles Times, presented Lake the award on behalf of the group. Klein praised Lake for his availability and accountability in both good times and bad throughout this season, as well as insights offered that help each media member within and outside that organization do their jobs.

"You guys make my job easy because you guys have helped me a lot, have showed so much support and it's great conversation," Lake said to the group. "And honestly, for me, it's like, I love talking about the game, and it's really easy to talk to people like you because you guys are genuine and authentic to who you are. And it's fun for me because, as a player, you kind of wish to be in the media sometimes, to be in the spotlight a little bit, and you guys give me the avenue to do that. I appreciate you guys, too."

The award comes a day after Lake signed a three-year extension with the Rams keeping him under contract through the 2028 season.
