Ravens-Rams viewed as Top 10 game

NFL.com's Kevin Patra pegged the Rams' road game against the Ravens as his No. 3 game of 2025.

"This one might fly under the radar for many fans, but not for me," writes Patra. "Do you remember the last time these clubs faced off? They gave us more fireworks than the Fourth of July in one of the best games of the 2023 season, an OT barnburner capped off by a 76-yard Tylan Wallace punt-return TD. The defenses on both sides might have improved since, but even so, any time Lamar Jackson and Matthew Stafford are on the field, explosives ensue. The matchups in this one are enticing: Jackson weaving around one of the best defensive fronts in football to create big plays with his arm and legs; Stafford bullying the Ravens secondary with big-bodied wideouts Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. Grrrrrr. I can't believe we have to wait months for this game!"

Kupp facing former team among best "revenge" games of '25

Writes NFL.com's Nick Shook: "On Kupp's end, though, I could see how the 31-year-old, who returned to his roots in Washington when he signed a three-year deal with the Seahawks, would want to show the only NFL team he's ever played for to this point that he's still got it. And he'll have two chances to do so during the regular season."

ESPN's biggest takeaway

"The NFL expects the Rams to be a good and relevant team, giving Los Angeles five standalone games, including two of their last three games of the season," wrote ESPN NFL Nation Rams reporter Sarah Barshop in her schedule analysis. "The Rams, who have made the playoffs all but two seasons since coach Sean McVay was hired in 2017, return the majority of their core from their playoff team last season. Three of those five island games are away from SoFi Stadium, including the back-to-back in Weeks 16 and 17."

FOX Sports' prediction and analysis

NFL reporter Eric D. Williams has the Rams going 12-5 in 2025 and wrote in part about Los Angeles' 2025 schedule:

"The Rams have won the NFC West four times in eight seasons and have reached the postseason six times since McVay took over as head coach. They are the team to beat in the division once again."

Williams' full analysis can be read here.

The Athletic's prediction and analysis

Rams beat writer Jourdan Rodrigue also predicts a 12-5 record for L.A. this upcoming season as well as a first-place NFC West finish.

"This is a better football team after nailing two consecutive draft classes and plugging around those ascending young starters with a top quarterback in Stafford, and small but important fixes elsewhere such as along the defensive line," Rodrigue wrote as part of her analysis.

December(s) to remember

An NFL Research note from Senior Director, Content & Editorial Ali Bhanpuri: "The Rams have the NFL's fourth-highest win percentage in December (.703) since Sean McVay became the team's head coach in 2017. L.A. has been been particularly good on the road during the holiday month, winning at a 68.4% clip -- second-best behind Kansas City (75%)."
