The Rams continue their three-week preseason schedule hosting the Chargers on Saturday at SoFi Stadium. Kickoff in Inglewood, Calif. is scheduled for 4 p.m. PT on Rams TV affiliate KABC.
The radio broadcast can be found on ESPNLA 710 AM and KWKW 1330 AM.
In advance of the contest, here is your First Look at Rams-Chargers. First Look for Rams-Chargers is presented by Paramount+.

Notable Chargers additions
- Signed wide receiver Keenan Allen. Traded to the Bears prior to the 2024 season, Allen reunites with the franchise that drafted him after signing a one-year deal with the Chargers last week. His return helps the depth of a Chargers wide receiver room that lost Mike Williams to retirement in mid-July.
- Selected North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton in the first round of this year's draft. Hampton's arrival followed the signing of veteran running back and former Pittsburgh Steeler Najee Harris as part of a remade Chargers backfield, after letting J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards walk in free agency.
Top performers in 2024
Quarterback Justin Herbert completed 332 of 504 pass attempts (65.9%) for 3,870 yards and 23 touchdowns against three interceptions while starting all 17 games and the Chargers' wildcard playoff game.
Dobbins finished as the Chargers' leading rusher with 195 carries for 905 yards and nine touchdowns.
Rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey led the Chargers' receivers with 82 receptions for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns.
Defensively, safety Derwin James had 93 total tackles (second-most on the team), 5.5 sacks and one interception while starting all 16 games he played plus the playoff game, while outside linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu had a breakout second season with a team-leading 8.5 sacks.
On special teams, kicker Cameron Dicker made 39 of 42 field goal attempts and 33 of 36 extra point attempts, while punter JK Scott averaged 46.7 yards per punt.
Early storylines to watch, and what they mean for the Rams
Rookie performances and roles in Week 2, and various aspects of the secondary.
In Week 1, inside linebacker Pooh Paul Jr. wore the green dot as the on-field signal caller. Running back Jarquez Hunter had 11 carries for 41 yards, just past the scheduled 10 touches he and Blake Corum were designed to receive. Wide receiver Konata Mumpfield was targeted a team-high five times and brought in two catches for 24 yards.
As for the defensive backfield, Josh Wallace played safety exclusively in the preseason opener despite playing corner last year – will that continue this week, or will the Rams play him exclusively at cornerback instead? Pro Football Focus charted 14 of his 21 snaps back deep at safety against the Cowboys, with the other seven in the box/slot. Beyond safety, cornerback also bears watching, especially with how many experienced ones Los Angeles has competing for back-end roster spots. Cam Lampkin's interception was one of the highlights of Week 1.
