The Los Angeles Rams will host the Los Angeles Chargers for the team's second preseason game, presented by Paramount+ available on YouTube, at SoFi Stadium on Saturday, August 16 at 4:00 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast locally on KABC-7, streamed on Altitude Sports Network and on radio in English on ESPN LA 710 AM and in Spanish on KWKW 1330 AM. As part of the 'LA Together' theme, the game will recognize and honor first responders who worked tirelessly throughout the January wildfires and continue to rebuild Los Angeles.

LA Together Gameday Elements To Honor First Responder
- Rams x LAFD Air Operations Limited Merchandise Collection: The Rams will unveil Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Air Operations custom merchandise from the team's LAFD Air Operations Draft Headquarters. 100% of net proceeds will benefit the LAFD Foundation as part of the team's continued efforts to help Los Angeles rebuild and recover. The crew neck and t-shirt will be available exclusively on gameday in The Equipment Room at SoFi Stadium on Level 4. Items also are available online at Ramsfanshop.com beginning Friday, August 15.
- Rampede Captain: In continuation of the team's collaboration with the LAFD Air Operations, the team will host nine members from Air Operations as honorary Rampede Captains. The group will get fans on their feet and kick off the game.
- Bud Light First Responder Draft Picks: On Saturday the Rams and Bud Light will honor Pilot Brent Ruff, Aeromedic Dustin Hurwitz, and Helitec Tim Pido from LAFD Air Operations who were paramount in fighting the Los Angeles fires.
- Verizon Military Hero of the Game: Master Gunnery Sergeant Dave Arellano will be recognized during the first quarter as the Verizon Military Hero of the Game. Born in Los Angeles in 1980, Arellano began serving in 1997, enlisting in the United States Marine Corps and earning the title of United States Marine. Trained as a Scout Observer for Artillery and Naval Gunfire, he joined Headquarters Battery at the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station — his home for 16 years. In 2003, he began a second career as a Los Angeles City Firefighter. He rose to the rare rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant, now serving as the Senior Enlisted Advisor at the Marine Innovation Unit, Marine Forces Reserve. In the fire service, his final assignment before promoting to Fire Inspector was at Fire Station 23 in the Pacific Palisades. Through his 22 years of dedicated service, his proudest role is as a husband to his wife Emily and father to their three children.
Rams Gameday To Feature Special Guests And Performances
- Coach Knapp Stair Climb: During pregame, Rams coaches including head Coach Sean McVay, offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur and safeties coach Chris Beake, will participate in the 2025 coach Knapp Stair Climb in honor of the late veteran NFL assistant coach Greg Knapp. Knapp was killed by a distracted driver while he was riding his bike in 2021. The climb, a ritual of Knapp's before each home game of his 25-year career, and The Coach Knapp Memorial Fund work to honor his life, with the mission to reduce crashes and save lives through education and advocacy. Coach Knapp's wife, Charlotte, also will join the coaches in the climb.
- Pregame Youth Flag Football: International youth flag football teams from Japan, China, and Mexico will join the Ingelwood Rams and NFL Flag So Cal for a flag football game on the field during pregame at 3:40 p.m. PT.
- Bridgestone Girls Flag Football Halftime Games: On behalf of Bridgestone, 80 girls flag football athletes from Chatsworth Charter High School, Legacy Senior High Visual and Performing Arts, Verdugo Hills High School and Nathaniel Narbonne Senior High will participate in a flag football game during halftime.
- National Anthem: Compton Kidz Club will sing the national anthem and Los Angeles County Fire will present the colors. Liberty Military Housing will hold an 80-yard American flag on the field during the anthem.
- Legend of the Game: Rams Legend, Super Bowl LVI Champion and 2021 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Andrew Whitworth will be honored as the Rams Iconic Legend of the Game presented by 1800 Tequila.
- RISE with the Rams: For the eighth consecutive season, the Rams have teamed up with RISE, a national nonprofit that educates and empowers the sports community to eliminate racial discrimination, champion social justice and improve race relations, for a season-long leadership and community-building program featuring local high school football programs with a cross-section of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. This year's program will culminate with the Rams hosting tackle and girls flag football players from Cleveland Charter High School and Alain LeRoy Locke College Preparatory Academy for a tour and session on being a champion of change at NFL Los Angeles – the league's West Coast headquarters at Hollywood Park - on Saturday before students enjoy the Rams vs. Chargers game at SoFi Stadium.
- Flight 300 Program with Isaac Bruce: For the third consecutive year, Rams Hall of Fame wide receiver Isaac Bruce will host 40 students from his Flight 300 Program for a pregame event featuring a career panel and networking in partnership with American Airlines and the Rams. Students also will enjoy the game from a suite provided by American Airlines. American Airlines also will provide Bruce with five million AAdvantage Miles to help provide transportation to students traveling to school in 2026.

- The Shops at Hollywood Park contain a variety of dining options including The Meeting Spot, COSM and Cinepolis. For fans arriving before gates open, they can visit The Meeting Spot for gameday drink specials and receive free entry into COSM pre- and postgame by showing a Rams game ticket.

- Early Entry Special: There will be early entry $5 beer specials at the Bud Light Backyard in Upper American Airlines Plaza from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. PT or while supplies last.
- Activities for Fans: Rams Ramp'd Up area, the Button Bar, football pong and more will be available to fans in Upper American Airlines Plaza from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. PT.
- Rams Football Academy: Fans can visit the Rams Football Academy booth in upper American Airlines Plaza to learn about the exciting youth program and sign up for exclusive benefits and merchandise from the time gates open through halftime.
- Rams Land Kids Zone: Fans can enjoy a soft play area with a slide and foam pit, a tumbling space, a Rams House reading nook, a kids-edition bench press and a vertical leap in Upper American Airlines Plaza from 2:00 p.m. PT through the end of halftime.
