The Rams will take on the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game next Sunday in Seattle. It will be the third meeting between the two teams this season, and second at Lumen Field.
Rams-Seahawks will take place Sunday, January 25 at 3:30 p.m. pacific time on FOX. The winner of that game will advance to Super Bowl LX. For the Rams, it would be the third Super Bowl appearance in head coach Sean McVay's nine seasons leading the team.
Seattle won the last meeting between these teams, a shootout on Thursday Night Football in Week 16. The Seahawks came back from a 30-14 deficit in the fourth quarter to send it to overtime, where they matched the Rams' touchdown with one of their own and then won it on a two-point conversion. Both teams totaled over 400 yards of offense, with the Rams setting an NFL season-high with 581.
The Seahawks punched their ticket to the NFC Championship game on Saturday with a blowout victory over the 49ers, 41-6. Wide receiver/return specialist Rashid Shaheed brought back the opening kickoff for a 95-yard touchdown, and the Seahawks' defense created three turnovers (one interception and two fumbles) in a rout of their division rival.
Another NFC West showdown with the Rams awaits them on Sunday.
