Rams visitan a Seattle y con suerte podrían brincar al liderato del Oeste | Vista previa del partido

Luego de un mes completo sin tener que salir de casa, los Rams se suben al avión para visitar a uno de sus tradicionales rivales con la oportunidad de regresar al promedio de .500.

Todavía más interesante es que si los Rams consiguen el triunfo al visitar a los Seattle Seahawks el domingo incluso podrían amanecer el lunes como líderes de la División Oeste.

Cuando la temporada regular está por llegar a su punto medio, la División Oeste de la NFC está para cualquiera de sus integrantes. Arizona, San Francisco y Seattle se encuentran empatados con marca de 4-4. Luego viene Los Ángeles con récord de 3-4 y mejorando.

En contraste, los Seahawks han perdido tres de sus últimos cuatro compromisos y la jornada anterior ni siquiera fueron muy competitivos en una derrota como locales por 31-10 ante Buffalo, su tercer descalabro seguido en casa.

Además de eso, los descansados Rams no tendrán que preocuparse por el siempre peligroso receptor D.K. Metcalf, tal vez la mayor estrella de los Seahawks, descartado por lesión. Pero alguien a quien sí podrían enfrentarse es el linebacker Ernest Jones, quien tras dejar Los Ángeles este verano en un cambio, empezó la campaña con Tennessee y recientemente aterrizó en Seattle, donde debutó con una actuación sólida la semana pasada.

Los Rams se llevaron un susto cuando Puka Nacua, quien apenas reapareció la semana anterior con buena actuación, se resintió de la rodilla durante la práctica del jueves. Este viernes, Sean McVay dijo que no existe ningún daño estructural, pero de todos modos el receptor estrella fue puesto como cuestionable para el domingo. El liniero ofensivo Joe Noteboom (tobillo), el tackle defensivo Neville Gallimore (hombro) y el pateador de despejes Ethan Evans (enfermo) no jugarán. Además, el receptor Jordan Whittington (hombro), el safety Kam Curl (rodilla) y el esquina Charles Woods (dedo del pie) están cuestionables.

Los Seahawks, por su parte, no contarán con su mayor amenaza profunda en el ataque, el receptor abierto D.K. Metcalf (rodilla) ni tampoco con su ala cerrada titular Noah Fant (ingle).
