With the offseason program complete and Rams Training Camp starting up on July 22, it's time to look ahead. As part of the preparation for training camp, theRams.com will be spotlighting a handful of players new to the Rams' roster. Continuing the series is outside linebacker Josaiah Stewart.

How He Got Here: Stewart was selected with the 90th overall pick in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Michigan.

What's Next: Stewart joins a young outside linebacker room featuring the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year, Jared Verse, along with third-year player Byron Young. The pair combined for 121 pressures last season (Verse supplied 77), and they were relieved by the likes of do-it-all outside linebacker Michael Hoecht (now with the Bills). Stewart will look to earn a spot in the rotation with the elite efficiency he provided at Michigan last season.

Bet You Didn't Know: Stewart didn't start playing football until high school.

Quotable: "One thing (I learned at Michigan) for sure I would say is just knowing your role. I mean, coming in from Coastal (Carolina), from being the guy, from being the pass rusher, All-American, record sack leader, to coming to Michigan and being a role player and a rotational guy taught me a lot, man. It taught me what it means to win and what you got to do to play a role and win, man. I'm all about winning, so I'll do whatever it takes." – Stewart on April 25 after being drafted

Outside line backer Josaiah Stewart kicks off his first professional offseason with the Los Angeles Rams after getting drafted out of the University of Michigan. Look through some of his best moments so far!
