The Los Angeles Rams will host the Dallas Cowboys for the team's first preseason game of the 2025 season at SoFi Stadium on Saturday, August 9 at 4:00 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast locally on KABC-7, streamed on Altitude Sports Network and on radio in English on ESPN LA 710 AM and in Spanish on KWKW 1330 AM. As part of the NFL’s ‘Play Football’ initiative, the Rams' gameday will feature youth football programs playing on the field at SoFi Stadium during pregame and halftime as well as youth football clinics hosted on the field prior to gates opening from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. PT.
The NFL celebrates youth and high school football year-round. Through camps, activities, NFL FLAG and tackle leagues, the Play Football initiative provides a fun and engaging experience for players of all ages and skill levels, equipping young people with key life skills that are building blocks to success on and off the field. The Rams are committed to growing the game of football by providing access and opportunity for all youth across Los Angeles.

RAMS GAMEDAY TO FEATURE SPECIAL GUESTS AND PERFORMANCES
- Pregame Youth Flag Football: International youth flag football teams will join youth flag football teams from Challengers Boys and Girls Club and the Inglewood Rams to perform on the field during pregame at 3:40 p.m. PT. Prior to gameday, the youth traveling from Japan, China, and Mexico, alongside the local youth competed in a three-day football camp.
- Halftime Youth Football Game: Over 100 youth tackle football players will take the field for the halftime performance. The Inglewood Sentinels will face Woodcrest General in a matchup while Lakewood Pacific plays the Compton Jaguars. During halftime, the Rams will present the four programs with a $25,000 check to support their youth football initiatives.
- National Anthem: Keith Williams Jr. will sing the national anthem and the Army Color Guard will present the colors. The Gardena Youth Football Team will hold an 80-yard American flag on the field during the anthem.
- Rampede Captain: Rams Legend Michael Brockers will get fans on their feet and kick off the game as the honorary Rampede Captain. Selected by the Rams in the first round, 14th overall, of the 2012 NFL Draft, Brockers played 11 seasons as a defensive tackle in the NFL. He played nine seasons with the Rams, appearing in 138 games and recording 28 sacks and 48 tackles for loss.
- Make-A-Wish Wish Granting: The team will grant Make-A-Wish kid, Zach Chism's, wish by hosting him at their preseason game against the Cowboys. From Nicholasville, KY, Zach will attend the game where he will receive merchandise, personally meet one of his favorite players, Matthew Stafford, and sign a one-day contract with Rams General Manager Les Snead and VP of Football and Business Administration Tony Pastoors, becoming a Ram for the day. Zach has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is 18 years old.
- Legend of the Game: Rams Legend Brian Allen will be honored as the Rams Iconic Legend of the Game presented by 1800 Tequila. Allen, a center for the Los Angeles Rams, was drafted in the fourth round, 111th overall, of the 2018 NFL draft. He played for the Rams from 2018 to 2024, including their Super Bowl LVI-winning season.
- Military Hero of the Game: Technical Sergeant CRAIG BERCSA will be surprised during the first quarter as the Military Hero of the Game. Bercsa joined the Air Force in 2012 as an Airlift and Special Mission Aircraft maintainer. He and his wife Becky have five sons. Initially stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base with the 314th Airlift Wing, he worked on C-130 Aircraft until 2016, when he was assigned to work on F-35 aircraft and was stationed with the 57th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV. During his time at Nellis AFB, he served as a Dedicated Crew Chief on F-35 aircraft and was awarded a commendation medal where he played a key role in the response to a B-52 in flight emergency. Bercsa became an enlisted accessions recruiter in 2022. He was reassigned to Southern California on a humanitarian assignment where he currently serves as an enlisted accessions recruiter for the 369th recruiting Squadron in Los Angeles, CA.
- pLAymaker Surprise: During pregame, the team will recognize Khalil Wadood , the commissioner of the Snoop Youth Football League, as a 2025 pLAymaker during a surprise presentation. In its 20th year, the Snoop Youth Football League plays a major role in providing youth with the opportunity to learn the game and build discipline, community, and brotherhood. The league's reach spans across Long Beach, South LA, East LA, South Bay, Watts, and offers access to youth football in under-resourced areas at an affordable price. In addition, they also operate the Snoop Special Stars flag league, which provides opportunities for children with disabilities. The Rams pLAymakers program recognizes 13 Angelenos each year for their efforts to fight injustice and pioneer with purpose in their communities as part of the NFL's Inspire Change platform. Throughout the year, pLAymakers are selected for their impact on the Los Angeles community and receive a financial grant from the Rams.

- Early Entry Special: There will be early entry $5 beer specials at the Bud Light Backyard in Upper American Airlines Plaza from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. PT or while supplies last.
- Activities for Fans: Rams Ramp'd Up area, the Button Bar, football pong and more will be available to fans in Upper American Airlines Plaza from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. PT.
- Rams Football Academy: Fans can visit the Rams Football Academy booth in upper American Airlines Plaza to learn about the exciting youth program and sign up for exclusive benefits and merchandise from the time gates open through halftime.
- Rams Land Kids Zone: Fans can enjoy a soft play area with a slide and foam pit, a tumbling space, a Rams House reading nook, a kids-edition bench press and a vertical leap in Upper American Airlines Plaza from 2:00 p.m. PT through the end of halftime. Kids of all ages can meet Rampage 15 minutes after gates open.
