Rams y Seahawks tienen récord de 7-2 para liderar la División Oeste de la NFC, han ganado sus últimos cuatro partidos con amplio dominio y ambos vienen de anotar arriba de 40 puntos en su más reciente compromiso. La anticipación para el choque programado a las 1:05 pm PT (FOX/1330 AM Tu Liga Radio) es de lo más alta que pudiera haber para un encuentro del mes de noviembre.

Kupp acumuló 634 recepciones para 7,776 yardas y 57 touchdowns para los Rams, además de otras 56 atrapadas, 742 yardas y 7 anotaciones en playoffs.

"Este es otro juego de fútbol americano", dijo Kupp, quien dejó en claro que no quiere que su retorno se convierta en una distracción. Será un examen de alto grado de dificultad para la línea ofensiva, pues los Seahawks se han convertido en una de las defensas más agresivas de la NFL con 32 capturas de quarterback, incluyendo 5.5 del linebacker exterior Uchenna Nwosu y 5 de los linieros Byron Murphy y Leonard Williams. Otro liniero titular, DeMarcus Lawrence, devolvió dos fumbles para TD la semana pasada contra Arizona. Los Ángeles solo ha permitido 14 capturas de QB en la campaña y esa buena protección ha sido factor en la impresionante actuación de Matthew Stafford (25 pases de TD, 2 interceptados).

- Sam Darnold llegó a Seattle en vez de quedarse en Minnesota debido, entre otras razones, a sus problemas para manejar la presión de las defensas rivales en sus últimos dos partidos como quarterback de los Vikings. La gran protección que ha recibido hasta ahora en los Seahawks (solo 10 capturas) ha sido crucial en su éxito. Los Rams, que solo han logrado 1 "sack" en sus últimos dos partidos, necesitan llegarle a Darnold o al menos incomodarlo en la bolsa, sabiendo que lanzar bajo presión no es la fortaleza del hombre de 28 años. L.A. capturó a Darnold 9 veces en el juego de playoffs de enero.
