The Rams close out the 2023 regular season with a trip to the Bay Area to take on the 49ers. Kickoff on Sunday from Levi's Stadium is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. pacific time on FOX.

In advance of the contest, here are 3 Keys to Winning for the Rams, powered by The Wallace Firm.

1. Play a clean game offensively

Quarterback Carson Wentz is slated to have the Rams' full starting offensive line in front of him on Sunday, against the majority of the 49ers' regular defense. San Francisco is tied with Seattle and Cleveland for the seventh-most sacks this season, and also tied with Cleveland, Chicago and the New York Giants for third-most takeaways created, so pass protection and taking care of the football are of the utmost importance.

2. Smooth operations on special teams

Brett Maher is back as the Rams' kicker, but he's working with a new long snapper this time. Meanwhile, the Rams are coming off of a Week 17 matchup against the Giants in which they surrendered a 94-yard punt return for a touchdown.

A steadier performance by this phase all-around is not only important for Sunday, but heading into the following week's playoff opener.

3. Reserves maximizing opportunities

Beyond Wentz, the handful of starters resting on Sunday will give ample opportunity to players who haven't seen as much action for the majority of the season. If those reserves can take advantage of those reps, it will go a long way toward a victory.
