College: During his time at Western Carolina, McCutcheon appeared in 22 games (21 starts) and totaled 79 tackles (48 solo). As a senior in 2022, he was just one of four defenders to start all 11 games at cornerback. McCutcheon recorded 32 total tackles (21 solo) and 2.5 tackles for loss. He was selected to the Third-Team preseason All-Southern Conference team by Phil Steele. During the 2021 season, McCutcheon transferred from Gardner-Webb and appeared in all 11 games (10 starts) in the defensive secondary. He finished fifth on the team with 48 total tackles (27 solo) and two tackles for loss. He made his WCU debut in the season-opener against Eastern Kentucky. During his time at Gardner-Webb, McCutcheon appeared in 25 games with 87 tackles (63 solo) and one interception. During the 2018 season, he had a season-high nine tackles (seven solo) against Kennesaw State.
Personal: A 2018 graduate of Seneca High School in Seneca Sc., McCutcheon earned First-Team All-Region honors as a senior. He was named Second-Team All-Area by the Anderson Independent-Mail and honorable mention All-Area honors. He also competed in track and field and ran the 100m and 400m hurdles.
