College: During his time at Youngstown, McAllister was a three-year starter appearing in 30 games (28 starts) and earned All-Missouri Valley Second-Team honors in 2022. He was named the 2022 recipient of the Jim and Leighton Holmes Scholarship endowment and the Ned Mervos Family Scholarship endowment. During his final campaign in 2022, he was graded as one of YSU's top lineman playing every snap in 7-of-11 games. He played a key role in blocking for running back Jaleel McLaughlin, who was named MVFC's Offensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-American. McAllister finished the 2022 season with 1,588 rushing yards. As a junior in 2021, he moved to starting center for all seven games. During his sophomore campaign in 2020, he appeared in all 12 games as a reserve offensive lineman and a member of special teams. He made his collegiate debut as an offensive lineman against Robert Morris. McAllister was a part of YSU rushing attack that averaged 187.4 per game. During the 2018 season, he made his collegiate debut against Valparaiso. McAllister redshirted as a true freshman during the 2017 season.
Personal: A 2017 graduate of Woodland Hills High School in Churchill, PA., McAllister was a WPIAL Class 5A Allegheny Nine All-Conference pick as a defensive lineman. Since he was 16 years old he served as a volunteer firefighter at the Turtle Creek Fire Department in addition to playing football.
