The Rams (5-11) close out the 2022 season taking on the Seahawks (8-8) in Seattle, with kickoff from Lumen Field schedule for 1:25 p.m. pacific time Sunday on FOX.

In advance of the contest, here are 3 Keys to Winning for the Rams, powered by The Wallace Firm:

1. Stop the run

The Rams faced Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III for almost the entire first half before Walker exited the game with an ankle injury that prevented him from returning. Walker is healthy and coming off back-to-back games with over 100 rushing yards, so stopping him will be priority No. 1.

2) Limit explosive plays by Seattle's passing game

Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith hit wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett and tight end Noah Fant for big gains against the Rams in Week 13, including a 36-yard touchdown pass to Lockett on their first possession. Lockett (shin) is questionable for the game, but if he plays, stopping him will be critical. Metcalf and Fant carry no injury designations.

3. Establish the run

Running back Cam Akers carrying over the momentum from his last two games into this one would go a long way for Los Angeles' offense, especially against a Seattle run defense allowing the third-most rushing yards per game in the NFL.
