KENNY RAN SO I COULD

People who end up as the "first" do not usually set out to be "first". They set out to do something they love. By sticking to their truth in the face of adversity, they create a legacy that paves the way for the next generation of leaders, giants, and heroes. For the NFL, Rams running back Kenny Washington was that "first", breaking the league's color barrier a year before Jackie Robinson took the field for the Dodgers.

Since then, Kenny's legacy has shaped the Rams' organization for over 75 years, from our players and staff to our community work across Los Angeles. We honor Kenny by sharing his story and how his impact is still felt today. Kenny ran so we could achieve our dreams, on and off the field, and we are eternally grateful for his courage.
